Just as American quilts are stitched together from cherished pieces of fabric, this quilt was designed with the idea of symbolically stitching together all the best that we, in America have to offer. Of course, making a quilt can't change the grief this country has suffered in the last decade, nor can it really mend our hearts. But it can show that nobody, short of God, can steal our cherished memories, or the pride we have in our freedom. On 9/11 an attempt was made to rip us apart, but in the end, it only served to stitch us together with more strength and unity than we realized we possessed. Finished size 34 inches x 20 inches.
